A qualified tax advisor (license no. 09861), Maciej graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University’s Faculty of Law, majoring in marketing and management. He also completed a post-graduate programme in finance and accounting at the Poznań University of Economy.

Maciej has over 15 years’ advisory experience. He worked for PwC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Doradztwo Podatkowe DGA & SAJA Sp. z o.o., becoming a partner in Morison Finansista Podatki Maciej Mastalerz sp. k. in 2005. Since 2014, partner in WLP Mastalerz & Wspólnicy doradcy podatkowi sp. k.

Maciej’s focus is on tax reviews, due diligence and tax optimisation projects, including real estate tax streamlining for energy industry players. Maciej has a wealth of experience in tax litigation before various tax authorities and before administrative courts of all levels where he has provided client representation in more than 100 cases.

He has authored press publications on matters of tax, including expert advice in Gazeta Prawna.

Maciej is proficient in English.
